Ballin on a Budget: Nails

I had a bit of a situation at the nail salon. Actually, this is not the first time I’ve had to deal with issues at the nail salon. But the last time just really disturbed me and it was the final straw for me. For anyone who gets their nails done professionally or possibly a manicurist knows that you need a base coat, color coat, and top coat. The manicurist did not do a base coat, they did a color coat and top coat. When you get acrylic on your nails, your manicurist is not supposed to drag the acrylic powder because of the timing. The manicurist would drag the powder. Here was the final straw: When removing your nails, the manicurist is supposed to wrap them in foil and cotton rounds (not balls) with remover for ten to fifteen minutes. Y’all the manicurist filed my nail down and used a nail from the box, slid it into a small opening, and took the acrylic off. It damaged my nail and it was awfully painful. It was a hot ass mess.

There’s two nail salons in my area and they were both horrible. I’m wasting my money and as you all know, I do not like to waste my money. So I bought my own nail kit and led gel nail dryer. The  $70.00 to $80.00 per month I put into nails, I can use for the blog or bills.

Lets do some even extra math: $70.00 * 12 months = $840.00 a year ( I’m done y’all).
