Back to College Journey

So I’m not sure where I will be transferring to after finishing my Associates. Okay before I start my rant, I’m going to give you the information needed for you all to rant with me. Okay, so in schools in the U.S. you can earn a degree called an Associates (or a two-year degree. Now in some cases, like mine, you can earn an Associates degree and use it to transfer to a four year college or university.  My case is even weirder because I have one Associates degree already, and I’m back in school earning my second Associate degree since , well, I had horrible grades and I’m using this second Associate’s to show admissions I’m not a complete dumbass. I know that’s insane but I had to do what I had to do.

Now after earning my first Associates, I transferred to another college to earn my bachelors but I quit because I was going through a lot of financial and mental distress. That was 2012, so lets fast forward seven years later and I am about to earn my second Associates. I was very close to graduating from the four year college and I thought well, I will take the last courses and graduate in one year through the online adult program. OH NO!!! That would be too easy. I tried to do financial aid and I found out through the program that I was interested in does not really fund adult students. But the traditional everyday students can receive hundreds to thousands of dollars in scholarships and grants.

Needless to say, I was officially over it , its a private university (expensive as hell). I found another reputable university that I can earn my Bachelors and expand in my career.
