Nervous and Excited

Happy Cookout and a Day off Work! Sorry peeps, I can’t celebrate a country that’s still treating Black people and other people of color like third class citizens. Especially when there’s small children in concentration camps.

As you all know, I’m in school now taking some courses at the local community college . I made the decision to finally finish and earn my bachelors. Here’s the situation, I gotta get money to pay off a debt to get my credits from the previous school I went to. I have some money from my benefits and it’s my money, I’m just scared. I’m scared of failing again, right now I’m taking a statistics and honestly, it’s tearing me a new one. I don’t know if I’m going to pass or fail. Right now I’m passing with a D but I (nor anybody) wants to pass a course with a D. So I’m gonna fight tooth and nail to get this Elementary Statistics transferable , and I need a C. I’m so close that I can taste it. It’s very frustrating.

  1. This is one of the first July 4th holidays where I absolutely had no interest in any of it. “Proud to be an American” just doesn’t ring right. Hopefully we can all feel better about the country next November!
